Terrific place. The q...Was just there this weekend. Terrific place. The quarry is stunning. A lot of kids there, with a few of them daring to jump into the water. Several chose the easy route and climbed down to the waters edge for a swim.<br /><br />I am a bit of a gear head and seeing the old machinery scattered about in the woods was fascinating. Looking at them and figuring out what they were used for and how they worked was a lot of fun. My two companions quickly tired of me explaining to them what we were looking at as i managed to figure out the machinery. <br /><br />There are numerous trails throughout the site. Not all of them have artifacts form the quarry operation. But still beautiful to hike through the woods. Trails are well marked and not difficult to hike.<br /><br />If you are in the area and like to hike trails with the bonus of this being an abandoned quarry operation I highly recommend visiting.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18005482716235040118noreply@blogger.com
