  1. TOTEM POLE CAPTION READS:
"Totem pole pictured above is typical of ma(ny?) Joon clan* route of Dodge Alaska truck run."

The Advetrs (upper left) side-note reads:
    BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE
    ALASKA TO NEW YORK
    PROVES DODGE
    "BUILT TO TAKE IT"
Score another "first" for Dodge trucks! Now in a grueling, 4621 mile performance test, the new Dodge truck pictured here set a trailblazing record of real significance and importance. This truck made the first truck run in history from Alaska to New York! It was loaded with two tons of Matanuake potatoes and other Alaskan products. Threading it's way through endless miles of torturous nothland trails- crossing three mountain ranges- through almost constant fog, rain, and snow- this 1 1/2-ton Dodge maintained its record making schedule across the continent from Ketchikan, Alaska to New York.
